Doctors fight for Palestinian's medical care

The Physicians for Human Rights organization has petitioned the High Court of Justice on behalf of a Palestinian from the Gaza Strip who has been barred by the army from entering Israel even though he needs urgent medical treatment. The petitioner suffers from AIDS and is also a hemophiliac. He has been treated before at Tel Hashomer Hospital and wants to go back there. According to the petitioners, the army told journalists that "the patient is denied entry for security reasons."
