East Jerusalem woman suspected of slitting her son's throat

An east Jerusalem woman was under arrest Friday on suspicion of slitting her son's throat and seriously wounding him.
She had fled to Jericho, but was arrested upon her return to Israeli territory on Thursday.
The woman told police that she had sought to free her son from his cancer pains. She was sent for a psychiatric examination.
