Elderly woman hit by car in central Israel, dies of injuries shortly after

A 68-year-old pedestrian was killed Friday morning when she was hit by a car near the Kishon Detention Facility.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Shifra Agronov, from Hadera, crossed the road in a place where there was no zebra crossing and a car on its way to Ha'amakim junction hit her.
An MDA helicopter moved Agronov to Rambam hospital and she died there of her injuries.
