Internal Security Minister Gideon Ezra said on Sunday that Israel would have to allocate an additional NIS 1 billion to the budget in order to eradicate violence in society.
President Moshe Katsav said that the poor absorption of the Ethiopian immigrants was responsible for the violence, Israel Radio reported.
