Far-right activists vowed revenge Sunday night following the shooting attack at the Gush Etzion Junction that left three Israelis killed and several others wounded. OC Central Command Maj.-Gen. Yair Naveh arrived at the scene of the attack Sunday night and was met by a volley of curses by radical right-wingers from the National Jewish Front Party led by Baruch Marzel. The activists yelled "Get out of here" and "take off your kippa. You expelled Jews [from Gaza]." Once Naveh understood he was surrounded, the activists said, he got into his jeep and fled the scene. Activists set Palestinian stands on fire outside the settlement of Karmei Tzur and reportedly dragged Palestinians out of their cars and beat them. Others threw stones at Palestinian homes in Hebron. "There is no reason not to behave this way," Marzel told The Jerusalem Post. "We have a government that has abandoned its residents and does not guarantee our safety and we need to take care of ourselves since no one else is looking out for us." Another far-right activist vowed that further attacks would come. "This is just the beginning," he said.
