The Health Ministry and the US Food and Drug Administration have signed a memorandum of understanding for the transfer of professional regulatory information between them.
The ministry said Sunday that the data will deal with the regulation of food, medical equipment and drugs and include scientific and legal information and good manufacturing processes.
The agreement will enable the ministry to receive relevant information in real time regarding the safety of products, which will help ministry officials make more-informed decisions and improve registration of products.
