Flower species spotted in Israel for first time

Beersheba researcher Dr. Oz Golan identified on Thursday a species of Mediterranean flower that had never been seen in Israel. Golan photographed the tofach rav-haalilim, as the plant is temporarily called, while walking in the Zahala neighborhood northeast of Tel Aviv, Israel Radio reported.
