Gaydamak: PM can't attack a man for aiding public

Russian-born billionaire Arkadi Gaydamak slammed Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday, saying that as a man in public office, Olmert had no right to criticize him someone working for the good of the public. In an interview with Israel Radio, Gaydamak reiterated his intention to run for mayor of Jerusalem. Shas minister Yitzhak Cohen, meanwhile, said that Israel must thank Gaydamak and other philanthropists who contribute to worthy causes in Israel.
