Gaza: IDF arrests 4 armed infiltrators

A force from the IDF's Golani Brigade on Sunday afternoon apprehended four Palestinians who had infiltrated Israel from the Gaza Strip shortly beforehand. The four were taken in for questioning. According to an IDF spokesman, the four infiltrated near the Kisufim Crossing in the center of the Gaza Strip. When the IDF realized that the fence had been breached, Golani troops quickly deployed, surrounding the Palestinians and arresting them without having to fire at them. Guns and grenades were found on the infiltrators' person. According to reports, the four gave surrendered quickly, which raises questions regarding their motivation for crossing into Israel. One possibility is that the four are Fatah men who did not intent to attack Israeli targets but rather to flee the strip for fear of Hamas.
