Hamas: We killed a Zionist settler in occupied Tel Aviv

Several hours after the body of a man, 36 years old, was found in Tel Aviv with multiple stab wounds an a slit throat, a Hamas affiliated TV station transmitting from Gaza reported that a "Zionist settler was stabbed to death in occupied Tel Aviv." Police initially suspected a murder occurred, but Professor Yehuda Hiess from the Institute of Forensic Medicine said the death was a suicide. A senior defense official told Channel 10 that Hamas's statement was not being taken seriously and that no events over a nationalistic background were reported in the Tel Aviv area. The source added that police were continuing to do everything necessary to protect the town and its residents.
