Haredi protesters rioted Saturday evening in Jerusalem against the Gay Pride parade scheduled for next Friday. Rioters set trash bins on fire on Prophets St. and Shmuel Hanavi St.
Jerusalem District Commander Ilan Franco is expected on Sunday to present his plan for securing the parade to police chief Insp.- Gen. Moshe Karadi.
The police are expected to recommend moving the parade to an indoor location, where it will be easier to provide security.
