HCJ judge delays ruling on Amona demolitions

Supreme Court Justice Salim Jubran delivered a preliminary injunction on Friday afternoon preventing the state from demolishing the permanent homes in the illegal West Bank settlement of Amona. With the injunction, Justice Jubran rejected the state's request to throw out the HCJ petition filed by Amona residents against the demolition. He scheduled a further hearing on the matter on Sunday morning to be heard by a panel of three judges.
