High Court: Winograd not obligated to send out letters of warning

The Winograd Committee is not required to send letters of warning in advance to those who would be harmed by the conclusions in its final report, the High Court of Justice ruled on Tuesday, rejecting a petition by the military prosecutor. Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch wrote in the ruling that since the court could not determine, at this stage, the degree of harm that those mentioned in the report would incur, it could not rule on whether those parties could have a right to protest before the report's publication. The final report is scheduled to come out in the next few weeks.
