Lebanon's militant group Hezbollah reported an Israeli airstrike in south Lebanon on Tuesday and then retracted the report minutes later to say an Israeli missile had exploded almost a day after it landed in Lebanon.
The two reports went out on the scrollbar of the group's Al Manar television.
The second report said a missile that landed Monday near the south Lebanese border village of Adiyassa had exploded on Tuesday. It gave no reason for the sudden detonation.
