Hizbullah sniper victim recovering from surgery

The 19-year-old soldier from Netanya who was shot in the back in Kibbutz Manara on Sunday by a Hizbullah sniper is in moderate condition after undergoing a three-hour operation on Monday at Ramban Hospital in Haifa. The soldier, whose spinal cord was not harmed, was hit in his intestines and other internal organs. He will remain in the respiratory intensive care unit until his condition stabilizes and there is no danger of infection.
