The Home Front Command had begun enlisting reserve soldiers on Wednesday in order to bolster forces in central Israel.
This move may have been a response to Hizbullah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah's vow to begin firing rockets deeper into Israel, beyond the northern port of Haifa.
