Members of the Egyptian delegation in the Gaza Strip have seen kidnapped IDF Cpl. Gilad Shalit and confirmed that he is alive, the London-based Al Hayat reported Monday. The report also supported Palestinian announcements that Shalit was receiving medical care.
Since Shalit was kidnapped in an attack on IDF forces near Kerem Shalom coordinated by three different Palestinian terror factions, reports that he was seen alive have consistently turned out to be false, Army Radio reported.
