Defense Minister Amir Peretz decided Saturday night to freeze senior appointments in the IDF General Staff.
Peretz told Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz on Saturday night that he would decide whether to approve the appointments only after all the findings from the investigations into the war in Lebanon had been submitted to him from all military divisions.
