IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi met with the family of captured IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Schalit at the family home Mitzpe Hila on Friday.
Army Radio quoted Schalit's relatives as saying that the chief of staff had no new information to give them on Gilad's welfare or on the chances of his release.
