The IDF killed an Islamic Jihad operative early Sunday in Yamoun, near Ramallah.
A 10-year-old Palestinian girl was shot and killed in Yamoun in a botched IDF operation last week. Yamoun was also the residence of the Palestinian who was intercepted Tuesday on his way to carry out an suicide bombing in the center of the country.
Late Saturday night, the IAF bombed four access routes in the northern Gaza Strip in response to several Kassam rockets launched over the weekend, including one that landed in Ashkelon's industrial zone.
Also on Saturday night, soldiers caught five unarmed Palestinians in the Gaza Strip trying to infiltrate the northern section of the Israel-Egypt border.
