Gaza Division commander Brig.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi said on Friday morning that IDF forces hadn't taken control of all the areas from which Kassam rockets had been fired.
The primary purpose of IDF operations in northern Gaza, Kochavi told Israel Radio, was to strike at the terror cells and infrastructure.
