IDF readies to clear Hebron families from market

The IDF plans to evacuate two Hebron Jewish families from two former Palestinian marketplace stalls next week, Army Radio reported on Thursday. The two families, Yahalom and Barkochva, who have been living there since September, were last week given until Friday noon to leave the two shops but will now be forced to leave only on Monday. Last Monday the military prosecutor's office issued a warning to the families and their attorneys noting that the departure deadline had passed. It further warned that they could be fined the expense of the military operation. Tovah Lazaroff contributed to this report.
