IDF thwarts terrorist attack at checkpoint south of Nablus

IDF troops foiled a terrorist attack at the Hawara checkpoint on Monday night, Army Radio reported.
A Palestinian tried to escape to a waiting car after soldiers found three improvised explosive devices on him during a search at the checkpoint south of Nablus. When the weapons were discovered, soldiers followed procedures and opened fire on the man. A hit was confirmed, and the terrorist was taken to a hospital in Nablus.
The explosives were safely detonated by Border Police sappers.
