IDF to examine failures in treating soldier with tuberculosis

The IDF Medical Corps has set up an inquiry commission to examine the failures in treating a soldier from the Shimshon Battalion who contracted tuberculosis and infected dozens of his comrades.
The soldier was not diagnosed on time and did not receive the proper treatment.
Israel Radio reported Tuesday that the soldier was only sent for treatment after a protracted time suffering from a severe cough.
