'IDF to hold renewed assessment on fuel supply to the Gaza Strip'

The IDF's Southern Command will hold a renewed assessment on the issue of fuel supply to the Gaza Strip Saturday evening, Army Radio reported. The announcement came after the director of Gaza's only power plant said it would be shut down in two to three days unless Israel resumes fuel shipments. Army sources told the radio station that it was not likely that a decision on whether or not to resume fuel supply to the Strip would be made Saturday. That, they said, would have to be decided by the political echelon.
