Infant from Lod drowns and dies in plastic swimming pool

A one-and-a-half year old boy from Lod drowned and died at home Friday in a plastic swimming pool.
The child's parents found him lying face down in the water, unconscious. They phoned rescue services and the infant was rushed to hospital in critical condition, but medical staff was unable to revive him.
