Initiative to expand day-care to help working moms

The Industry, Commerce, and Trade Ministry launched a new initiative on Monday morning aiding mothers in their children's day care. The initiative included reducing day care prices, extension of their working hours until 5 p.m., funding of afternoon day care centers, and hiring additional childcare workers and assistants. The plan was meant to help integrate mothers into the workforce and enable them to pursue careers, knowing that their children are being taken care of, Army Radio reported.
