Injured MK Eitam placed on same floor as PM Sharon

Former National Religious Party chairman MK Effi Eitam was admitted at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem on Wednesday and according to Israel Radio was placed in the neurosurgery department on the seventh floor - the same floor as Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Eitam, however, was not in the neurosurgery intensive care unit where Sharon is. Eitam was injured by a horse on Wednesday morning during the evacuation of Amona, and underwent a CT scan on his head and chest. He was listed in light to moderate condition. "30 years I fought on the battle fields, and I never believed that I would be wounded by a Jewish policeman while I was doing my duty as a member of Knesset," said Eitam.
