Israel and Brazil sign 3-year cultural cooperation agreement

Foreign minister Tzipi Livni on Wednesday signed a three-year cultural cooperation agreement with her Brazilian counterpart Celso Amorim after talks in Jerusalem.
The agreement covers music, theater, cinema and the exchange of artists.
The talks focused on the Middle East peace process and furthering bilateral relations.
Amorim is also set to meet with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and President Shimon Peres during her visit which is part of a regional trip that also takes in Syria, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority.
