Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik met with US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in Washington on Wednesday and the two discussed the issue of captured IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Schalit and captured IDF reservists Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev.
Israel Radio reported that later Wednesday night, Itzik was set to meet House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi alongside Goldwasser's wife Karnit.
