Jerusalem Municipality pledges support for students in city center

The Jerusalem Municipality said Monday that it was doing "everything it could" to encourage students to live in the city center. The city said that 1,300 students currently live in the downtown area of the capital compared to a mere 150 students three years ago as a result of student subsidies. The comments come as a new organization of twentysomething Jerusalem residents has been established to find housing solutions for students and post-army young adults who want to stay in the capital..
