'Jordan's bid for IDF war crimes petition comes from kingdom opponents'

A reported Jordanian plan to file a petition to the International Court in The Hague against senior Israeli figures for actions during Operation Cast Lead comes from opponents of the Hashemite kingdom, senior Jerusalem officials said Tuesday.
The officials told Israel Radio that those opponents were working against the Jordanian regime, not just Israel, and insisted that there was no legal basis for such a petition.
