On Monday afternoon, police met for an hour with Keren Hayesod/United Israel Appeal World Chairman Avi Pazner and questioned him on trips Prime Minister Ehud Olmert took abroad that were paid for by Keren Hayesod.
"We've been asked not to speak to the press," a Keren Hayesod spokesman said on Tuesday. The spokesman would only confirm that investigators had taken testimony from Pazner. "We promised to cooperate fully with the investigation, and all our documentation will be available to law enforcement officials who ask for them," he said.
