Kinneret water levels are at a five-year low, and are only 40cm away from forcing a complete halt to pumping activity, Army Radio reported Tuesday.
The water line in Israel's main source of water has dropped by two meters since 2004. Sources in the country's water authorities told the radio station that Israel could be facing a serious water crisis.
