The Knesset plenum approved on Tuesday the second and third readings of a bill to extend the Mandatory Education Law through 12th grade.
Knesset Education Committee chairman Michael Melchior, one of the bill's authors, said that the bill was "revolutionary," and put Israel in the "forefront" on this issue.
