Hizbullah's general conference gathered in recent weeks and decided to extend the term of the group's chief, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, a Kuwaiti paper reported Saturday.
According to the report, the decision was based on a legal ruling written by the spiritual ruler of Iran, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
It was also reported that the organization planned to appoint a replacement for assassinated Hizbullah arch-terrorist Imad Mugniyeh.
