The Labor Party was expected to petition the central election committee on Monday against the inclusion of former Labor MKs Shimon Peres, Haim Ramon, and Dalia Itzik on the Kadima list of Knesset candidates.
Labor sources said that the three politicians used the party shift as a "trick" to further their own careers, Israel Radio reported.
The same sources also noted that Peres and Itzik quit Labor only after they reached the conclusion that they would not be able to serve as ministers after the upcoming elections.
An associate close to the three Kadima members related that their move out of Labor was legitimate and was supported by the Knesset legal advisor.
