Lipkin-Shahak: Winograd findings on National Security Council neglected
By JPOST.COM STAFF
The government has not implemented the findings of the Winograd committee regarding the National Security Council, Army Radio quoted former IDF chief Lt.-Gen. (res.) Amnon Lipkin-Shahak as saying Sunday.
"In practice the National Security Council is non-existent today, and I don't see it [changing] either," he said.
Lipkin-Shahak was chosen last May to head a committee to implement the Winograd findings.
Among other recommendations of the Winograd Report was 'substantial improvement in the functioning of the National Security Council.'
Herb Keinon contributed to this report.
