Education Minister Limor Livnat announced Sunday evening that she would consider supporting the law proposal submitted Monday by MK Yuli Tamir (Labor) for financing higher education.
According to the proposal, which is based on a model developed by Tamir and by high tech executive and Labor activist Guy Spiegelman, students will be able to finance their educations by means of government-subsidized loans, which they will repay after joining the work force.
