The Tel Aviv District Court sentenced a Rishon Lezion resident to four years in prison and two on probation - as well as a fine of NIS 20,000 - for rape, kidnapping with intent to murder, imprisonment, robbery, assault and threatening his girlfriend.
The judges ruled that Zvika Ya'akovi, 48, had acted obsessively toward his girlfriend and that the fact that the two were a couple did not diminish the severity of the crimes.
