One person was killed and another moderately injured in a car accident near Daliat al-Carmel overnight Thursday, in which the vehicle crashed into an electric pole.
Police said the victim was the driver of the car, a resident of Osefia in his 30s.
The injured passenger was taken to Haifa's Carmel Hospital for treatment.
Police were investigating the circumstances of the incident.
