A 25-year-old was seriously wounded after being stabbed in a Ramat Gan park on Tuesday afternoon.
After an initial investigation into the event, police found that the attack was most likely criminally motivated.
The assailant managed to escape the crime scene following his attack, but police have begun searching for him.
The victim was rushed to Ichilov Hospital for treatment.
