Posters denouncing Jerusalem police chief Ilan Franco were erected Wednesday in the city's Mea Shearim neighborhood, police said.
The posters, which read "evil, trooper, and hypocrite" were put up in the ultra-religious neighborhood after a haredi suspected of distributing placards against Jerusalem police during last year's violent protests over the city's planned gay pride parade was remanded in custody through the duration of his trial.
