Labor leadership candidate MK Ami Ayalon came out fiercely on Tuesday against his opponent, former prime minister Ehud Barak, saying that if Barak "doesn't understand that unilateral diplomacy is a fatal error, he apparently wasn't here for the last few years."
During a meeting with Labor activists in Ramat Hasharon, Ayalon emphasized his opposition to implementing the Palestinian "right of return" in any way.
"Ehud Barak needs to see his mistake and understand that supporting the entry of Palestinians into Israel is flawed and dangerous," he said.
