Knesset Member Muhammad Barakeh was questioned by police in Jerusalem on Tuesday over suspicions that he attacked a civilian and a police officer during separate demonstrations to protest the 2006 Lebanon War.
Far-right activists stood outside of the police station, shouting: "In another country, you would have been hung."
Detectives had waited a year for Bakareh to agree to come in for questioning.
