MK Nudelman to join Sharon's Kadima party

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon gained another crucial member to his new party when MK Michael Nudelman (Yisrael Beiteinu) announced Sunday that he was joining Kadima. Nudelman, a resident of the northern Galilee city of Kiryat Shmona, immigrated to Israel almost fifteen years ago from Kiev. Nudelman is considered an asset because he enjoys broad support among immigrants from the former Soviet Union. The former Kiryat Shemona municipal councilman is currently serving his third term in the Knesset, where he serves as deputy speaker and sits on numerous committees.
