MK Sharoni: Dissolve the Shochat Committee

Gil Pensioners faction chair MK Moshe Sharoni called Saturday to dissolve the Shochat Committee, charged with examining a higher education system. Sharoni made his announcement prior to a meeting between students and Gil Pensioners head Rafi Eitan, planned Monday at the Knesset. University and college students have been striking for nearly a month, protesting the government's refusal to reduce tuition fees.
