Former deputy IDF chief of General Staff MK Matan Vilna'i (Labor) said Sunday that politics had penetrated all the upper levels of the IDF.
Speaking at the Herzliya Conference in the IDC in Herzliya, Vilna'i said that the army had had an excellent plan of action in the Lebanon war, but that it had not executed it for political reasons.
