Mofaz approves program to eliminate pirate radio

Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz approved on Sunday morning an interministerial program to eliminate pirate radio infrastructure. The program was expected to go before the cabinet soon for approval. "Only last week, we saw the terrifying results of the aerial tragedy in Brazil. The risk of an aerial tragedy in Israel as a result of pirate radio broadcasts is no less significant," Mofaz said. "We must relate to it as aerial terrorism."
