Mofaz: Israel should do to Hamas leaders what it did to Ahmed Yassin

Hamas leaders must understand that they will not be immune from attack as long as attacks from the Gaza Strip continue, Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz said Wednesday, after a Hamas ambush in Gaza left three soldiers dead and two others wounded. Mofaz said there was no differentiation between political and military leaders in terror organizations and so Hamas should be sent a clear and resolute message. Israel should act as it did in 2004 when it killed Hamas leaders Sheik Ahmed Yassin and Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi, thus increasing its deterrence, the minister added.
